The Thrill May Be Gone But He Is Not Forgotten!

I am beyond thrilled at the success of last nights memorial concert to the King of The Blues, BB King!
To think that over 400 people came together to honor this man shows their love for Blues Music and that Blues Music will never die! It reassures us that we are Keeping the Blues Alive! BB gave us some great tunes and the thrill may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to pay your respects to BB King. It was truly an unforgettable night!
Special Thanks to CNB and The Mineola Main Street Board for sponsoring us, The City of Mineola for supplying an outstanding venue at Peterson Park, Mineola, Texas, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church for catering the event, Jerry Hubbard for making our job easier by running sound, and especially to my bandmates Curtis & Tim, and to the new generation of Blues, Haven Hill & Matt Mullins from my Blues Ensemble at The Rafael Espinoza Music Academy!
This night was for B.B. and I think he would have been proud by the sense of community we all felt right here in Downtown Mineola Texas.

Thank you!
Rafael Espinoza
